Non Formal Education

According to education scientist, education it self can be done through three way. They are formal educational, informal education, and non-formal education. School and university are type of formal education but courses with various curriculum's are no formal educations. In the mean time, informal education are some guidance's that our parents give us to bring their children up at home.

In our country, formal education and non formal education are controlled by education and culture department. However, formal education are different from non formal education. The difference is based on the curriculum. The non-formal educations manager their curriculum by themselves. That is way they have various curriculum's. Take an example, accountancy course which is realized by Jakarta collage doesn’t have the same curriculum as accountancy course realized by Yarsi collage.

Although, the non-formal educations aren’t the same as formal educations. Sometimes they also aim to facilitate certain subject in the formal educations. No wonder, many students have joined English or accounting courses to improve their abilities in the subjects accordingly. It happen because of the time at formal educations are limited. The students, on the other hand, want to have better abilities than they have gotten at school.

In our country, the existence of non-formal educations are protected because its are suitable with the mission in the preamble of our constitution. hence the government lets some education foundation realize some course. They also help the government to raise the intelligence of our nation. Beside the age of participants of non-formal educations are not limited. They are open to everyone who wants to take part in it’s.

Based on the arguments above, it is hoped that in the near future the intelligent of our nation will be raised through good education. Let’s do the motto that “study never ends until our breath stopped “. Furthermore, nowadays none is illiterate in our country

Vocational School

Do you know what vocational school is? Vocational school is the place where students are educated and trained to get special skill. How ever, the students of vocational schools still have opportunity to continue their studies at the university.

There are some vocational school in our country such as business and commerce school, music high school, tourism high school has different curriculum. Each graduate of the school must have a specific ability based on the curriculum.

In the school of course, the teachers of vocational schools have the have their own specialities. They educate the students to become gad professional workers. That is way, in the vocational school there is more training than knowledge. The comparison is usually sixty percent for training and forty percent for knowledge. Teacher’s usually give knowledge in the classroom and give training in the workshop and sometimes even in the real industry. Training is more important for the students to make them familiar in certain jobs.

The teacher guide and train their students to be skill full in up to date office is equipments and machines. They teach the students theoretically to have wide knowledge of technique, business, trade, typing and some others else. Beside, the teachers give the students to be good, loyalty, truthful, honest an generous. Hence in physical education they teach the students to be strong and healthy. In language education they teach the students to speak well in English and Indonesian.

According to the arguments a good, we can say that vocational school is very fix. It prepares the students to have good skill either in the field or in the office.

Education is not the government's, but it is also ours all of us ought to pay attention to the success dully of the education. the education will be success if all people pay attention to it.

nowadays, our government give a support to students who have mark points by giving scholarship. However, not only the government has given the scholarship to best students some charitable businessmen have to. Many charitable businessmen were conscious about it. They know that if many best students finish their studies successfully they will have capable employees in their businesses. For example Jaya student of SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur Indonesia has gotten the scholarship from a private office in Jakarta for financing her study. of course, when she finished her study at university, she got a position in the private office directly. It means that he private office has gotten capable employee in the office.

Mr.Turyono headmaster of SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur Indonesia has promised to give scholarship to students who get best mark points. The scholarship which will be given is from Muslim educational foundation “ al khoiriyah “, because the "SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur Indonesia” is realize by the foundation. Nevertheless, the student who will get the scholarship has to have some qualification. The qualification is :
1. Having best mark points in all grades
2. Having good behavior
3. Active in study
The scholarship is becoming a model in our education. The scholarship it self can be given by individual or corporate body like a foundation, social organization, business enterprise, or any private social institution. may be, an economically able person will be able to become a foster-parents to finance poor students or orphans who have good intelligence.

Some economically able persons have pledged to help finance the poor students or orphans through giving the scholarship. So, the students wouldn’t be worry about their poverty if they have good intelligent. They still have a chance to enjoy their studies because of the scholarship. This situation makes people sure that in the ear future, Indonesia will have many people and the intelligence of our nation will be raised.
